GHub - Official Rules

(Disclaimer: These rules may change over time, so make sure to recheck them every once in a while!)

If you don’t read the rules but break them, that’s your fault.

Votes and Polls

1. You are only allowed to vote once. If you vote more than once, your extra votes won’t be counted.

2. You cannot vote for yourself. If you vote for yourself, your vote won't be counted.

3. You can change your vote if you want to.

Discord

1. You cannot bully, harass, threaten, or discriminate against anyone. (This will get you a strike and a 1 hour timeout)

2. You cannot post any NSFW (Not Safe For Work, inappropriate, 18+) content. (This will get you a strike and a 1 day timeout)

3. You cannot spam except in #spamming. (You will not get a strike for spamming in channels outside of #spamming, you will get a 10 minute timeout instead)

4. You cannot post AI generated art in #art, instead, post AI generated art in #ai-generated-art, same goes for AI generated music. (You will not get a strike for posting AI generated art or music in #art or #music, you will get a 5 minute timeout instead)

5. You cannot try to find loopholes in these rules

6. If you receive 3 strikes in total, you will be banned from the server. If you're a moderator and you get 3 strikes, your moderator status will be revoked, if you receive 1 more strike, you will be banned. If you're a VP Admin and you get 5 strikes, your VP Admin status will be revoked, if you receive 1 more strike, you will be banned.

7. If you want to request getting unbanned, please click on this link. The owner of GHub will view your request but they do not have to accept it.

8. These rules may change over time as new channels are created.

Rules for Moderators and the VP Admin

1. Moderators are NOT allowed to strike users in the GHub Discord Server unless granted permission by the VP Admin, the co-owner, or the owner of GHub.

2. The VP Admin is allowed to ban/strike users without permission from the owner if the reason is rightful. 

3. If you're a moderator and you see someone violating the rules, please message me on Discord and attach a screenshot if you can. 

4. If you think that a moderator/VP Admin struck/banned you wrongfully, please click on this link.

5. The VP Admin is NEVER allowed to remove games from the GHub website or delete the website entirely.

6. The owner of GHub is able to revoke a moderators/VP Admins status if they ban/strike users wrongfully or violate the rules.

7. Moderators and the VP Admin can only have their status for a maximum of 2 years. (Moderators and the VP Admins can only be Moderators and the VP Admins for 2 years max)

8. Mod & VP votes are held every year. if a Mod or VP Admin loses one of these votes, their status will be revoked and be given to the new winners of the vote.
